Charles and Linda Stillinger were recognized for their outstanding service as a firefighter
and crossing guard at our annual membership appreciation banquet this
spring. Due to the fire that caused extensive damage to their home on June
1st, their plaques were destroyed. Tonight, at our 50/50 feed, the officers
of the Hellam and Wrightsville Fire Companies presented new plaques for
Charles and Linda; a plaque for Charles' 51 years of continuous service with the
fire company and a plaque for the Community Helping Hand Award for Linda's service
as an elementary school crossing guard. Also in attendance was PA State
Representative Keith Gillespie. He presented both Charles and Linda
with new copies of their PA State House of Representatives Citations. |
