Junior Firefighters Jon Boyer, Katy Cain, and Lake Chisnell participated in a Junior
Firefighter Skills Day at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center.
The completed various stations including the firefighter's combat challenge
course, aerial operations, ladder training, car fire simulator, propane tank
fire simulator, rappelling, search and rescue, and other scenarios. This
event has provided the Junior Firefighters with valuable insight and experience
into the duties and expectations of a Senior Firefighter. Thank you
to the Instructors and Cadets at the LCPSTC for holding this skills day and encouraging
the next generation of volunteers. |
