Mutual Aid Equipment:
At 0317 hours the Hellam Fire Company was dispatched to Ducktown Road for a structure with reports of flames in the living room.  Chief 21 arrived to find a working fire back a long lane that was partially snow covered.  He set up the operations, directing Attack 21 to the scene while all other apparatus staged on Ducktown Road.  The fire was knocked down with a 1 - 3/4" handline off of the Attack with the assistance of horizontal ventilation.  At almost the same time, Attack 42 layed LDH supply hose from the hard road back the lane to the scene.  Once the utilities were secured, salvage and overhaul began.  Crews cleared the scene at 0615.
