Mutual Aid Equipment:
At 12:33, 21 Volunteers were dispatched to a brush fire next to a structure at 4339 Pleasant Valley Road, bringing a full structure response.  Engine 21 responded within minutes with the Tanker close behind.  Engine arrived to a 50x100 section of hillside and woods on fire, spreading quickly due to strong winds.  A line was pulled to protect the structure and start a perimeter to control the fire.  Crews made their up the hillside to view the extent of the fire.  During the time, other crews accessed the fire from the north, off of Binder Drive.  After the fire was controlled on the south side, a supply line was established to help with suppression on the upper end.  With this, crews made good progress on the fire and it was marked under control.  Two large, hollow trees were cut down to extinguish fire inside.  This fire was caused by a burn barrel.  Thank you to all of the support from mutual aid companies.
