This evening, the Hellam and Wrightsville Fire Companies along with guests and dignitaries
joined at the Hellam Fire Company auditorium for the First Annual Membership
Banquet. We are very proud of our bond with our fellow firefighters
in Wrightsville and we were pleased to share a banquet with them. The
evening consisted of social hour, dinner, guest speakers, dessert, and awards.
This year's guest speakers were Matt Tobia from Anne Arundel County (Maryland)
and Deb McDonald. Thanks to the speakers for your words and time.
Hellam Fire Company award winners were Helping Hand Award: Linda Stillinger;
Years of Service Award: Charles Stillinger (51 years) and Marlyn Stough (47
years); and Member of the Year: Kent Rudisill. Guests of tonight's gathering
included representatives from Yorkanna, Hampton Township, Craley, Columbia
#1, Maytown, York Area United, and Manchester. Dignitaries for the ceremony
included Keith Gillespie. Special thank you to Maytown and Columbia #1
for their time and effort in covering the township and boroughs. |
