Volunteers from Hellam, Wrightsville, and Columbia #1 gathered tonight to train using
ladders. The three departments met at Station 41 for a brief introduction
and then went to the old Electroplaters building for the training.
Chief Ryno (8-1) explained Truck 8-1. Columbia #1 volunteers followed by
raising the aerial and explaining roof operations. Meanwhile, ladders from
Truck 8-1 were deployed. Members also practiced knots and rigging and some
tool use. |
