Engine 21 was due on the 21-14 box for a vehicle accident with injuries. Engine
21 went responding with 5 in 4 minutes. Cheif 21-1 reported to York
he had two vehicles, one into a pole, pole down, and two patients. Engine
21 arrived, blocking the intersection for safety, assisted ambulance crews already
on scene with patient care, and pulled the trash line. Arriving 41 crews
controlled fluids and depowered the vehicles. Both patients were packaged
and transported. Cleanup was extensive due to the traffic signal being
down. After both vehicles were towed, the signal pole was taken apart
and loaded onto the Hellam Township trailer. Thanks to the towing companies
and Hellam Township public works for the quick response and safe removal of
the vehicles and pole. Final cleanup by 21 and 41 crews and box available.
While backing into the firehouse, Station 21 was alerted for an automatic
fire alarm at the Sears located at the Galleria Mall. Engine 21 responded
in seconds. Captain 89B reported malfunctioning alarm, box available. |
