A few hours after the Memorial Day parade in Hallam wrapped up, the 41-03 box was
hit for an auto accident involving a motorcycle on River Road at the Accomac Inn.
Engine 21 responded in about 4 minutes with a crew of 5. Chief
41 on scene confirming motorcycle accident patient unconscious. Chief 41
requested to fly med evac. Engine 21 was rerouted to set up a landing zone
at the field near Wantz's Fruit Stand. Ambulance 41 arrived on location,
cancelled the bird and transported patient. Later in the evening Station 21 personnel responded back to the light in Hallam for an auto accident with unknown injuries. Attack 21, Chief 41, and 41 Rescues on location with a 2 car accident with injuries, one car blocking. Ambulance 41 personnel handled medical care while Stations 21 and 41 personnel removed debris and vehicles from the roadway. Stations 21 and 41 fire police routed traffic around the incident location. |
