While hanging around the firehouse after junior training, Station 21 was alerted with 41 to a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. Chief 21 responding with no additional. Engine 21 responding with four in just over a minute. Chief 21 arriving on scene with one motorcycle off the road and one patient, motorcycle versus a deer. Rescue 41-2 first apparatus on scene providing patient care. Engine 21 arriving next providing assistance and scene lighting. Rescue 41-1 reduced to non-emergency and Engine 41 placed available. Patient care handed off to Ambulance 41 crews with the assistance of Medic 102 staff. Crews waited on scene for the towing of the vehicle. Box available.

Later Thursday night, the Hellam Township crews were alerted for a vehicle accident, no injuries, fluid on the roadway at Market St. and Freysville Rd. in the township. Chief 21 arriving confirming no injuries with a small amount of debris in the middle of the roadway holding the box to Engine 21 only, non-emergency. Engine 21 responded shortly after. Arriving on scene, Engine provided scene lighting while applying oil dry and ensuring the drivability of the vehicle. Box available.
