Tonight 21 personnel were alerted to an auto accident with injuries involving an
ATV. Chief 21-1, Chief 41, and Chief 21 enroute. Engine 21 responded
with a crew of 5, 2 EMTs on board, shortly after. Chief 21-1 arrived on
scene to find a single rider on the ground with severe head trauma, initiating
the response of air medical. Engine 21 crew arrived on location shortly
after. The 21 crew focused on patient care immediately by collaring and boarding
the patient. At the Ambulance 89's arrival, the 21 crew loaded the
patient. The patient was transported to the landing zone set up at Cemetary
Lane. Station 41 and Ambulance 89 personnel successfully transferred
care to Stat MedEvac crew. The 21 crew awaited the arrival of towing services. Box available. |
