Engine 21 Goes to North York |

At 1857, as the line officers were meeting at the station, Engine 21 was due in North
York Borough as part of a third alarm structure fire assignment. A crew
of 6 responded in a few minutes. Upon arrival, the crew presented to
command and was given the responsibility of RIT at side C. Rescue 41-1 crew
arrived and took over the RIT function, freeing up Engine 21 crew. The
crew was on the second division roof to cut holes, rip walls, and flow water.
Engine 21 also completed interior overhaul work with the crews from Engine
and Rescue 41. The 21/41 Brotherhood still managed to work as a unit in
North York Borough! Engine 21 was available at 2258.. |
