Mutual Aid Equipment:
Just before the height of rush hour, Stations 21 and 41 were alerted to a Vehicle Accident with Injuries on Route 30 Eastbound at the Wrightsville Exit.  Rescues 41-1 and 41-2 and Engine 21, all enroute before the second dispatch.  Chief 21 given the additional of two vehicles, both down embankments, with two injuries, possibly five or six vehicles involved.  Chief 21-1 and Rescue 41-2 arriving with two vehicles off either side of the road with one patient confined.  Rescues 41-1 and 41-2 established patient care and took a post and door on the confinement.  Engine 21 upon arrival assisted with depowering, debris removal, and patient care.  Both patients were quickly passed into the care of EMS crews and cleanup continued for a short period.  Upon arrival of towing services, box available.  Special thanks to Fire Police from Stations 21 and 41 for keeping the crews safe with the high traffic volume present.
