At 18:30, one minute before the scheduled training, the 21-20 box was struck for
a structure fire off Mt. Pisgah Road. Chief 41 went responding just after
dispatch, given the additional of a residential basement fire. Before units
arrived on scene, Captain 38 advised that the fire was out. Engines 21,
41 arrived on-scene, both sending crews into the structure to check for extension
and supply ventilation. When crews determined that the basement was
properly ventilated and a walkthrough with the owner was complete, the box was
placed available. |
